Christian Sperka
was born 1962 in Germany
lived in Germany, Switzerland and the USA currently in Nashville, TN
has worked in his former career for 23 years as IT consultant and Executive in 22 countries
has travelled to 47 countries on all continents except Antarctica (yet to come :-)
worked as a teenager for the first time as a photographer for a local German newspaper
got involved with wildlife conservation in 2002 and has actively supported the Munyawana
Leopard project in South Africa and the Africa Foundation ever since
is not only a wildlife photographer but has also a lot of knowledge about African animals
and their behavior
has spent in the last ten years over 180 nights in South African game reserves focusing
on wildlife photography
has visited many Zoos and Wildlife Parks in Switzerland, Germany, Australia and the USA
created the very popular eyes series images on canvas in 2008
developed animal photography classes for the Nashville Zoo
enjoys working as a volunteer docent at the Nashville Zoo
enjoys teaching and enjoys passing on his knowledge to other people
follows his ambition to become one of the top wildlife and animal art photographers
ultimately wants to move to Africa (in his old age :-)
